Applied Science Associates, Inc. (ASA) is a marine science consulting firm with headquarters in Narragansett, Rhode Island and affiliate offices in France, Australia, and Brazil.
ASA develops and uses computer modelling tools to address some of the greatest challenges regarding water pollution, from permitting facilities to oil spills.
ASA's solutions extend from routine analytical approaches to multidemensional computer models that simulate physical, chemical, and biological processes in marine and freshwater systems.

The Danish Meteorological Institute - DMI- encompasses the combined knowledge of Denmarks former Meteorological Institute, the Meteorological Service for Civil Aviation and the Meteorological Service for Defence. The DMI is organized under the Ministry of Transport, and has a staff of about 400. In addition, DMI has around 650 voluntary weather and climate observers.
Research and development at DMI is internationally acknowledged, and DMI receives extensive financial support from abroad, especially the EU. DMI has participated in 33 EU projects. Half of all the funding for research and development at DMI derives from external sources.
Nowcasting International works closely with the DMI in the field of numerical computer models; one of the most important tools for producing high resolution weather forecasts.

The Institute has a staff of approximately 440, the majority of whom are professional engineers and scientists with postgraduate qualifications and several years of consultancy and R&D experience. Projects have been conducted in more than 140 countries.
Based in Denmark, DHI has 23 offices in 21 countries, and a staff of over 80 people specialising solely in Hydrodynamic modelling.
Nowcasting and DHI work together in Europe, The Gulf of Mexico and Sakhalin Island, and count customers from amongst the oil & gas industry, governments and environmental agencies.
DHI offers a wide range of consultancy services, software tools, chemical/biological laboratories and physical model testing facilities.
