NOWCASTING PRO USER GUIDE

 Downloading Forecast Data:
To get a forecast, click Get Forecast in the top right hand corner. A screen entitled Download Selection will appear. Click on this screen to highlight the areas you wish to get a forecast for, or hold the left button on your mouse and move it to highlight a large area in one go. Click Get Forecast. Note that the boat icon on the Get Forecast screen represents where you have placed the boat Icon in the main screen To move around the the main screen, click and hold the left button on your mouse, and move the screen by moving your mouse.
The Time Track Bar at the bottom allows you to scroll through time, to monitor how the Weather will change
Features: Each tab on the left hand side provides a different feature. The tabs which are displayed are dependent on the type of licence which has been purchased - hence your installation may appear differently or certain tabs may not be active.
 
Having configured the alert limit, for a Data Type, any data within the alert range is displayed in the forecasted area of the main screen. Typically, alert data will be circled in red, in order to highlight the fact that it is an alert value.
Weather Window: When more than one criteria level is set in the alerts settings, the Weather Window tab, on the top left, will show a window for when all parameters are below their set criteria levels. Green is when all parameters are below their set alert levels, orange is when one parameter only is above and red is when more than one is above the set alert levels
Forecasts Graphs: Forecasts can be seen and printed in Graph form by selecting the Graphs tab. By clicking on Switch View in the top right hand corner of this screen, you can choose between individual graphs or a combined view of the graphs.
Vertical Profile: The Vertical Profile tab shows the direction the weather is coming in relation to the heading that you enter in the bottom left hand corner. You can choose to show or hide the Alerts on the bottom right hand side
